This is the only place in the world where you can reliably see Thresher sharks. They have found a cleaning station on a deep drop off site, where the sharks come regularly in around dawn to be cleaned. It's very early morning diving ... typically a 5:30 AM start. However it's worth it if you get to see a Thresher shark close-up. It's also possible to see manta rays ... but at a different time of the day, a leisurely 7 AM start !
