LUSAC Diving Members are entitled to all the air they can breathe from our fine compressors. With air at £3 a fill in local dive shops, keen divers quickly recover the cost of their subscriptions in air alone. And soon we will offer nitrox to qualified divers for the cost of the oxygen.
We operate two portable Bauer compressors which can be powered either by electric motors or gasoline engines for use on expeditions, and a large static Hamworthy unit which keeps our air bank full. The Hamworthy compressor delivers oxygen clean air at 300 bar.
Ear defenders must be worn by all operating or in the vicinity of running compressors.
