The annual Manchester Octopush Tournament was held at Manchester Aquatic Centre on Saturday 6 March. Liverpool University and LUSAC were represented by our team:
Adam Rimmer: Centre / Right Forward
Brendan Connolley: Left Forward
Damian McNulty: Centre Midfield
Brian Garnett: Centre Defender
Michael Whieldon: Right Midfield
Steve Rimmer: Left Midfield
Andrew Jennions: Substitute
Our team came 6th in our division, beating Great Britain Ladies Masters team which included two of our former players, Nicole and Jo.
The 5 goals we scored over all were scored by the two forwards with Adam scoring 1 Against North West ladies and Brendan Scoring the other.
Against GB Ladies Brendan scored 1 and Adam the other 2.
